Norba, Revista de Arte is a Journal (annual periodicity) published by the Universidad de Extremadura since 1980 (original titles: Norba, Revista de Arte, Geografía e Historia [1980-1983] and Norba-Arte [1984-2005]). It provides a forum for a broad blend of original papers to reflect the evolving needs of the history of art. Particularly welcome are contributions dealing with applications of spanish art. Moreover, history of architecture, urbanism and civil engineering contributions are also welcomed. The scope of Norba, Revista de Arte encompasses, but is not restricted to, the following areas: fine arts; aesthetic; philosophy and art; cinema; photography; design art; architecture; urbanism; civil engineering. Norba, Revista de Arte also publishes review articles, short communications and discussions, and book reviews related to any aspect of history of art (section "Varia"). Manuscripts and "Varia" section texts are always published under the peer review method, and they must be approved by two revisors. For that, Norba, Revista de Arte only accepts original and unedited manuscripts.
